Wear Sunscreen, Even If You Don't Burn

Health Tip: Wear Sunscreen, Even If You Don't Burn

Warmer weather means baring more skin, so you've got to be extra vigilant about wearing sunscreen. What's that? Your skin doesn't burn? You still need to wear sunscreen! All skin types (not just the folks with pale skin) are susceptible to sun damage and skin cancer, so even if you don't burn, be sure to lube up with sunscreen. Choose one that protects against both UVA and UVB rays. Apply sunscreen 20 to 30 minutes before going outside, and reapply it every two hours to keep your skin protected at all times.

The Sugar folks got me to wear sunscreen whenever I live the house. I can't thank you enough for that. :)

I have dark olive skin that tans easily. My dad is darker than me. One of the best things he ever did was get on me for not wearing sunblock from an early age. He used to say that just because I am not white does not mean that I can't get skin cancer one day... and this was back in the 80s.
