To help celebrate wedding season, FitSugar reader TiVo shared with us how she got in shape for her big day.

I did a lot of running and strength training for my wedding. In order to really hit it hard and fine-tune all the details, I did a pretty intense David Kirsch circuit for two weeks before the big day. I usually can't run too far or too often because of my knees, but I still ran quite a bit because I knew I was going to be giving my poor stiff knees a week off during the honeymoon.

I don't have a backless or strapless dress for my upcoming wedding, but I still want to bit fit, toned, and healthy. A lean back would be great, because a chunky back in my dress would show. ^_^

Maybe it's where I live [MN], but we don't really do this.... Out of most of the weddings I've gone to since graduating high school, the brides are, well, chunky. Whatever works I guess.

A friend and I are doing the P90X lean routine. If it wasn't for her I would not be waking up at 5:40 a.m. and getting a good solid workout in before my day gets sidetracked by life. After 11 weeks you'd think I'm a morning person...but not yet. We aren't sure what we are going to do once we are done(it's 13 weeks), but I do see a difference in the tone of my arms and legs. I think I might do the classic version of the workout next!
