I've been working on losing weight for the past 4 months (19 pounds, woot) because I didn't want to tie it to a NY resolution. I want to keep losing, but specifically, train for a 5k this year to get me more physically active.

I want to have more fun in 2009. I want my workouts to be upbeat and joyful rather than the daily grind.

Get rid of these last 14 pounds once and for all! I got rid of 30 in 2008, so this should be a cinch!

My resolution is to *continue* the things I started last fall: work out 5 days a week instead of 3 and drink only water and fruit juices. I think I prefer implementing resolutions throughout the year-- there's too much pressure in January!

All of the above-plus improve my posture-too much slouching!

I don't need to lose weight, but I don't always eat the healthiest stuff. I'd like to cut down on my sugar consumption and cut back on my Diet Coke intake...I definitely need to replace most of the Diet Coke with water!

I said work out more because I think focusing on how it makes me feel and the energy it gives me will keep me going.Losing weight will come along as an extra perk.

Work out more. I eat healthy already and don't indulge in sweets, but I find that I'm quite lazy now. =/

I don't want to focus on losing weight-what's better for me personally is just work out more and focus on the workouts and being healthier, and the weight will come off easily ;)

you're probably right with the lose weight one - but i think that a lot of folks are talking about changing their eating habits to be healthier or more health conscious. i think that's one of the best ways to go:)

I said work out more, but really I want to eat healthier too. I keep threatening my husband that we are going organic and we've taken some steps but we still need to eliminate all the snack-y foods!

Stop being lazy and the rest will come. If I overcome this vice the working out, losing weight and training for anything will become true.
