I like the idea of eating a proper healthy fuel breakfast before my 7AM Fly class, but it just ain't gonna happen. I'm literally rolling out of bed just after 6, brushing my teeth then hightailing to class. I don't properly wake up until we begin warm-up (just don't tell that to the other folks on the freeway with me). I have found though that eating half of a larabar and/or half banana approx. 30 mins prior to class and then finishing the remaining half post-class to be a godsend.

I love salmon as a post-workout meal. Oatmeal is great before a cycling class too. But, if the class is at 6am, probably not gonna wake up at 4am to eat. I think 150 calorie Oatmeal doesn't need much digestion time, so probably eating it only 30min before class will be perfect timing, so that you can use that energy!
