Hopefully since getting hooked on FitSugar you're getting more and more fit, but is it because you are trying to get back to how fit you once were? Or maybe you're striving to be your fittest ever. So whatever the reason I am curious when you think you were the most fit...

I used to live in Colorado and I went hiking all the time. Even some trail running. Now I live in Brooklyn and even though I walk a lot, its not the same.

The other day I ran two miles straight, which I've never been able to do in my life. From the time I was 9 until I was 16 I was a competitive swimmer, but I could never run. At 30 I now understand the importance of balance in a workout, cardio and weights and stretching all done with good form, and consider myself to now be in the best shape of my life. So far.

I'm more fit now than I've been in about 7 or 8 years, but not at fit as when I was a competitive skater. Then again, I was about 13 or 14 so my metabolism was a bit faster. I do circuit training, but I really need is to kick up the aerobic workout. So yeah, soon (hopefully).

I was a lazy depressing teenager in high school who cut gym class. But now I'm 26 and I work out 4-5 days a week. I'm at my lowest weight ever. And I know I appreciate it more today than I would have back when I was 16.

I am still working on eating more vegetables and fruit (aren't we all?) but I am probably my fittest now, since I am training for a half marathon. I've been pretty fit since after first year university. Before that, I wasn't technically overweight, but I didn't exercise much at all and my body fat % was much higher.

Although I am fit now, I have been this fit before, albeit a smoker.. so I am the most fit I have ever been, as a non-smoker.. but I have set goals for my fitness, so I put soon hopefully

i was most fit when i was about 19-20 years old.. how sad - almost 10 years ago :-( back then i was in college, going to the gym at nights and taking kickboxing/boxing lessons at a boxing gym.. i felt great.. i said soon though - because even though i'm not that age anymore -and the body has changed - we're doing everything right to feel just as great as i did back then.

My body was in peak shape when I was 18-19. Then I started working, worked out less, and ate fattier foods. Now my body is on the skinny side but pretty soft and saggy.

I was a tennis player in high school, but I did not eat well at all. I'm actually more fit right now...I can't remember the last time I was at the weight that I'm at now!

i've always had a fast metabolism and it hasn't slowed down much. five years ago i was super active (college, working, always moving), and now i'm not as active. i don't power walk as much as i used to, but i'm working to get back to that. i live in nyc and i'm not a huge fan of gyms, but i don't mind walking. since new york is one big gym with natural dips and climbs, i make a point to walk at least 3 miles twice a week. since the ground is so rocky, it really works both my heart and my lower and upper body. i think i'm smarter now. i never read food labels are thought about serving size. i think before the year is over, i'll beat my fittest self from 5 years ago.

I was super fit back in grades school because I was running track and playing every sport known, and was still getting away with eating junk. Then I was sedentary in high school, I was chubby in highschool. Then college was time to get better.. so yup there u go.

10 years ago, right after high school. It stopped when I started working, and even more when I got pregnant.

I put "soon hopefully" because although I've made some HUGE life style changes in the past couple of years (I quit eating meat, drinking and smoking) I am still trying to tackle the exercise part. I'm trying to incorporate some form of exercise into my daily life, but am unfortunately still not hip to the running/ jogging. Soon, hopefully! :)

Wow. This is tough. Well, when I was 16-19 I was probably in the best shape of my life (condition-wise) being a competitive mid-distance runner- now that i am 10 years older, I'm fit again after a few years of complete slacking, depression and poor diet- but mentally I'm much healthier than I was in my past and much nicer to my body. I don't feel guilty for taking time off of running and/or cross training. So well, I guess I'd have to say I'm much more fit and healthy NOW all around, even if I can't run as fast or far as I used to. :)
