Well, I'm trying not to eat starchy foods (like white potatoes) and I'm allergic to both bananas and avacados. What other foods have high potassium?

RDI stands for Reference Daily Intake. RDA stands for Recommended Daily Allowance. Check out this post called RDI vs RDA - it'll explain everything.

I got the avocado right, but what I didn't know was that a banana has more potassium than a potato. I always thought it was the other way around. :?

Denise Austin always touts the benefits of Idaho potatoes ("....AND they have more potassium than a banana!"), but she never said anything about avocadoes!
