A little yoga before bed, or even in bed, can be the perfect way to wind down and prep for a good night's sleep — especially with the sleep disruptions daylight saving can bring. Here are three poses yogi Tara Stiles recommends for a relaxing bedtime sequence. Next time you find yourself counting sheep, try these soothing poses instead.

Okay, so I've now practiced these 3 easy asanas nightly before sleep for 1 month. The quality of my sleep has been enhanced and the length of interval for my first period of sleep has been lengthened. I have lived with fibromyalgia for 17 years and these asanas help my body gently and carefully stretch and prepare for sleep. As well, they feel good while I am doing them.

I stretch in morning in bed to 'get moving'. Now I can stretch to relax and make it easier to sleep.
