Are You Stoked For Winter Sports? Which One?

Maybe the cold weather has forced you to bring your walks, runs, and bike rides indoors. That's OK because soon the snow will be falling near you (if it hasn't already), and that means you can start doing all those exciting Winter sports you've been waiting for. Not only are they fun, but they burn major calories. So tell me . . .

Skating - I used to be competitive, so it's always a blast to get back on the ice, and I'm currently considering getting back into adult skating/competition.

I am so excited to be in Colorado this year. I got my x-country skis back that I loaned out while I lived in Miami. The storm we got over the weekend allowed me to test out my skis in my neighborhood. So much fun!! Next up are some ski and soak events at a ranch not too far away.

No winter sports for me. Although if I lived where there was snow and ice, I'd say skiing.

Snowboarding! Hubby and I are hashing out a trip right now! Can't wait!! All you who say you hate the cold, put on a ski jacket and get out there. You will be warm within minutes, believe me, it's a workout!

I guess if I lived in a wintry climate, I guess I'd try cross country skiing or snowshoeing because I like already like hiking, so why not do it in the snow? But admittedly, living in Hawaii, I've never done any of these.

Snowshoeing for me. It's the only winter sport that I'll get bundled up for when it's so cold outside.

I hate being cold, period. This means that in the winter, I generally work out indoors and if I do go outside, I bundle up. I still walk my dog in the winter, but I still hate it. I went snowboarding once and I fell on my ass too often for it to be any fun.

tlsgirl doesn't do winter sports. The last (and only) time I went skiing, I got so frustrated (and COLD) that I took off my skis, stomped down the mountain, and spent the rest of the day with wine and pizza. Now THAT'S a vacation.
