Are Your Weekend Workouts Longer?

I'm psyched when the weekend rolls around because my schedule is fairly wide open, so I can plan longer workouts than I'd be able to do Monday through Friday. I like to go for hikes with the fam, make dates with my running buddies to do longer runs, or my hubby and I go for hour-long bike rides. What about you?

Definitely! I try and do a 5k+ run on the weekend. :) I did a hike today and I'm doing a charity run tomorrow.

My weekend workouts are usually shorter because my weekend days are not planned out whereas on the weekdays I usually squeeze in something short (or skip it all together) but I also move more on the weekends because I work at a desk mostly on the weekdays.

Yup... today was a 43 mi bike ride (hills) and 4 mi trail running. Tomorrow is a 50 mi bike ride (flats) and a 6-8 mi run (brick)

I work out a bit longer on the weekends than I do during the week; usually I add a longer strength session because I have the time for it. On most weekdays, I have to make my strength session short and sweet.

Yeah, I used to do an hour of yoga, followed by running, followed by weights on sunday mornings. Loved it! Now I've moved, so I've got to develop a new routine.

I only have about a half hour to run before work in the mornings, and I hate exercising in the evenings, so I really like to get in a good workout on the weekends.

Yeap - I can only do the long run on weekend. There's not enough time to do it on weekday.
