Are Your Weekend Workouts More Intense?

Hooray for Saturday and Sunday! I love my job, but I love my days off more because I have the free time to do whatever I want. That translates to longer, more intense workouts than I do during the week. I go on lengthy bike rides, hike up mountains, go rock climbing, take three-hour yoga workshops, and once Winter comes, I'll go skiing too. I love to push myself hard on my weekend workouts, and then afterward, it feels so good to eat a big meal and relax. How about you?

Definitely! If the weather is bad on a wkend I'll stay in the gym for an hour longer & have a more intense workout.

I like to up my intensity and duration on Saturdays and then use Sunday as my rest day if I need one, otherwise Sunday is just a normal workout day for me.

Definitely more on the weekends - I don't have time to go for a long run on weekdays.

I hate to be in the gym on the weekend, I always feel like I could be making better use of my time! But, I try to exercise at least one day of the weekend (mostly Saturday).

My weekdays are incredibly intense and animated with deadlines, I prefer to chill out on weekends, but I am starting rethink this a bit and may do some workout routines on Saturday and Sunday.

Intensity ... maybe not.. length - DEFINITELY ! today I did FOUR HOURS on the bike trainer (really icky weather), and tomorrow is a 17 mi run.

I love a weekend day with nothing on my schedule but a loooong hard workout. Then a loooong hot bath and a loooong nap!

I usually work out pretty intensely every day, but on weekends I do like to push myself a bit harder than usual. Sometimes I schedule my day off of working out on the weekend, but most of the time I work out.

I am aways helpind my dad on the weekends so no real workout unless you count shoveling, stacking, building & just so much different crap. But things need to get done.

I prefer to have a more intense weekend workout, but if I'm super busy with schoolwork (I'm a student, and it's midterm season) than I have to cut them short.
