Up That Incline

Running or biking up a hill can be fun or frustrating, but it's a wonderful way to up your calorie burn while building endurance. Increase the incline on your treadmill gradually or add hills to your outdoor route, and you'll be amazed at how easy flat-surface workouts become (and how much longer you can keep going).

I found that mixing up jogging with short spring intervals in between, perhaps after 7 minutes of jogging, really helped with my overall ability to run for longer. I would find myself jogging for 7 minutes, sprinting for 20 seconds and then jogging for another 7 minutes. Anyone else understand what I mean?
