Anthropologie Scenic Dinnerware: Love It Or Hate It?

These Anthropologie Scenic Dinnerware Plates offer a modern take on very traditional formal China. The blue border looks like Dutch Delft design, while the centers are filled with vintage photos of the English countryside. But unlike vintage dinnerware, these are dishwasher and microwave safe and cost $12 each. Are you liking the look?

I would put them on a floating shelf for decoration rather than use them for serving food.

I think those plates are pretty as some sort of decorations than for serving. I'd prolly display it than use it.

I think I don't. The two styles don't seem to go together. And it *does* look like there's food stuck on it.

it looks like there's cream of broccoli soup with blanched spinach and parsley all over them.... maybe if it was in another color... ?

I am undecided. I don't hate them, but I think I would like them more if the middle was done in tones of blue instead of green.

I dont like them. I am a simple dinner ware kind of person. I would like it if it were just the green background, or the blue and white. Otherwise it is way too busy for me.

I prefer plain white plates because I think it highlights the food better but for a certain party these plates would be gorge.
