Better Homes and Gardens Slow Cooker Recipe For Kielbasa Stew

Sunday Slow Cooker: Kielbasa Stew

Make the most of the rest of your weekend by playing hooky and celebrating the luck of the Irish rather than laboring over a Sunday meal.

Using cooked pork sausage not only cuts down on your meat prep time, but it also provides a satisfyingly smoky depth to the other elements of the stew, such as carrots, cabbage, and chicken broth.

As an added bonus, the bold spices of the sausage pair really nicely with any full-bodied beer. To see the two-step recipe,

Best recipe ever! I never actually measure the veggies and can remember all the ingredients at the grocery without the recipe. Stretches really with extra carrots/cabbage & broth or water without losing flavor & I've made it with all kinds of broth/water variations without noticeable difference. I rarely refer to the recipe unless I forget which spoon measure to use for the spices & love that it's the same amount of each. I did learn not to add too many extra potatoes or it loses flavor. This is my kind of recipe!

Sounds so yum. I like to throw turkey kielbasa into lots of slow cooker recipes. It adds good flavor, and I don't have to worry about whether it gets cooked.
