Let's Dish: What's Your Favorite Weekday Breakfast?

I get a little stumped in the breakfast department, especially on weekdays. Being creative with brunch, lunch, and dinner I can handle, but rushing around in the morning to make something nutritious and filling (so that I don't wind up famished by lunch) is kind of frustrating. Green smoothies, eggs, and toast are all great options, but all you food-lovers out there probably have great ideas. So I'm wondering what your go-to weekday breakfast is. Let's dish in the comments!

My breakfast each day is wholegrain oats soaked overnight in 1% milk, with fresh berries, apple, banana and walnuts added to it in the morning. YUM! I can't get enough of it!

My weekday standard is pomegranate greek yogurt with triple berry granola, flaxseed, fresh or frozen berries, slivered almonds, and cranberries — yum!

Two slices of whole wheat toast with local honeycomb, berries, and green tea. Sometimes I'll grind some almonds and put them on top of the honey. It's amazing!

I usually go with cold leftover oatmeal or a granola bar. This seems relevant to the conversation: http://www.eatingrules.com/healthy-breakfast-flowchart.pdf

Oatmeal with brown sugar or honey. The old fashioned kind, too. It surprising doesn't take that long to cook and is really nice during the winter months.

Sad, but I'm good with a big cup of Genmaicha tea and an Asian pear first thing. Usually a few hours later I'll have something more substantial, my current fave is leftover, cold brown basmati rice with some form of add in.

Cereal with lots of fruit, cinnamon and almond milk! Lately I've been loving Nature's Path Optimum Blueberry Cinnamon- it's not to sweet and stays super crunchy in milk.
