Chrissy Teigen's cookbook, Cravings [3], has been out for over a month now, and we're still not remotely over it. We've tried three standout recipes so far (chicken pot pie soup [4], lemony arugula cacio e pepe [5], and brick chicken [6]), and the author's recent Instagram post makes it clear what's going to be next: her dutch baby pancake. If you're not familiar, a dutch baby is a sweet, puffy pancake cooked in a skillet and served in slices like cake. In Chrissy's words from the recipe on page 19 of her cookbook, "Basically it's a fluffy dough bucket — a dish that, when finished, acts as a vessel to transport buttery syrup and powedered sugar into your mouth hole. They puff up ever-so-perfectly and one bite will change your life."

While we obviously can't wait for the arrival of Chrissy Teigen and John Legend's daughter [9], we will happily introduce ourselves to this dutch baby NOW.
