I only freeze glasses maybe an hour or two before a party but not regularly. There is never room on any given day to have more than a single shot glass in there.

i don't really have room to keep them in the freezer on a regular basis, but my fiance has been known to keep a few glasses in the freezer for beer when friends are over

I have a freezer at the top of my fridge and between my containers of homemade soup and stock, frozen vegies, some steak, salmon and a loaf of bread I don't have any room! Poissondujour...I couldn't cope without my freezer even if it is small!

I actually took a beer tasting class at Busch Gardens, and the instructures were very adament that you should NOT freeze your beer mugs. One the beer really shouldn't be that cold, because it will ice if you don't thaw the glass a bit before pouring. And secondly (most important) that the air in your freezer/fridge is filled with smells that will affect the taste of your beer. They did say you could just pop the actual beer bottles/can in the freezer (UN-opened) to help achieve that desired frostiness. Cheers!

I never think about it, I guess. I don't usually think ahead far enough to remember to put them in the freezer and I don't have enough room to store glasses in there.

I'm always afraid that I will leave the glass to long and it will break.

I just toured the Guinness plant last summer and they did indeed serve the beer cold....and said that is how it should be served. Serving it warm was just a myth they said.

I was just thinking about this the other day. We don't, but we also don't use our freezer really for anything other than ice and meat.

I always keep pint glasses in the freezer for Guinness Draught. It's a myth that Guinness should be served room temperature. It should always be served ice cold. Yum!

Just last weekend I was going through the freezer and thought that I had not used the beer mugs in 20 years.....imagine that....I finally got rid of them!
