Do You Craft Menus For Dinner Parties?

While I've always kept a hostess journal, I've recently started documenting my dinner parties with paper menus. Since my table only seats six, I like to write out a menu for each guest. It serves as a take-home reminder of the event and in a year's time, I'll have a fabulous collection of pretty little menus. How about you?

No, but I would like to start hosting more dinner parties with handwritten menus. Sounds like a great idea to me!

Generally, no. I entertain buffet-style, so it's obvious I think, what's on the menu. Just look at the spread. However, I do check with guests beforehand for food allergies and dislikes to avoid those on the menu. For good friends (and close family), I make sure to make some of their favorite foods.
