Do You Ever Order Food Online?

A lot of places are offering online ordering, and recently some of the folks at the Sugar HQ have taken to placing their lunch orders ahead of time. I haven't joined the bandwagon yet, but I was wondering, do you ever order online?

I have ordered specialty/international food online mainly because they are not offered at any grocery stores near me. But I do find them VERY convenient and would do it again :)

I always order my pizza online from the big chains (Papa Johns, Pizza Hut). It ensures that my pizza is made the way I want it, as that tends to get complicated when my roommate and I dress our halves separately. Plus I can use my CC to pay for it.

I have ordered online to the following places or for the following foods: Pizza Hut- its easier and i dont have to talk to some dimbulb college kid who really doesnt want to be there and isnt hiding that fact Sushi- The one place i get it, they barely speak english so ordering online is a god send Wing Stop- They are always Hellabusy when I call and sometimes get my order wrong, so i order online now to make sure they "hear" me. There is a service here in my town called "gatorfood.com" and there are dozens of restaurants that use thier service, you order online with them and they go pick it up and bring it to you.

I ordered a Mississippi Mud Pie from a bakery in New York City. It was well worth the time and price. It was the best pie I've ever eaten!

I have never ordered online, but I should try it. Looking at the comments, it seems that it would be beneficiary to do so on my long days.

I've ordered food samples online before, but nothing too elaborate.

I order from Domino's and Jason's Deli online all the time. Better than hanging on the phone for someone to take the order.

I've only done it for pizza hut a few times and I loved it. Half the time when I call to order the people on the other end can't understand me or I can't understand them so I find it's just easier online.

Chipotle has one of the best online ordering systems. Here, the close one is always packed at lunch time, so I love ordering online and skipping the line. There's also Gatorfood.com which has almost every restaurant in town on it. We love online ordering here in Gainesville.

I've done it with Domino's and Quiznos. Both were nice because I have in writing exactly what I ordered. Plus Domino's saves my info so what I've ordered previously is easy to order again. I wish I could do that with everything as I hate calling.

I haven't ever ordered take-out style, but I regularly order groceries for delivery from Pea Pod. I great service for anyone with young children. It is more expensive, though, than shopping in person.

I would really like to but it seems like a lot of Canadian places are not letting you order online. The most annoying one of all is Papa John's, who has printed right on their boxes the fact that you can order online. So I go to do it and there is no online ordering for Canadians - SO WHY NOT GET DIFFERENT BOXES PRINTED FOR US!?!?! I don't know why it made me so mad, but it really really did.

I order food online when I have to work late. I order it right when I leave work, and it gets there shortly after I do. :pepino:

We do it a lot at work for our big lunch orders, but I also used to do it in college. There was a site (campusfood.net, I think?) that had awesome specials, like free general tso's chicken with an order of $10 at an awesome local Chinese food place. My roommate and I would take them up on that offer EVERY TIME. I miss NY Chinese food...
