Do You Ever Share Your Utensils?

Here at the Sugar HQ, we recently got into a conversation about sharing utensils. I personally don't have a problem with it — as long as it's someone I'm close to or whose hygiene I trust — but I know it grosses a lot of people out. How about you, do you let your friends or family use your utensils?

I don't mind it as long as it with someone close to me that I know is clean and hygienic. I also have a bad habit of sharing drinks with my friends too.

I'm not really bothered by it. If the person is obviously ill, I might think twice, but otherwise I'm all for it. I'm the sort of person who if I eat something great, everyone around must try it, utensils or not, LOL!

What is up with the germ-a-phobia? I remember drinking out of the garden hose as a kid. Does the entire country have germ OCD?

with friends and family, yes, and i second the comment about ensuring they've not been recently ill.

As long as it's my husband, family members, or close friends AND they're not sick, then sure, I don't care.

The thought of it icks me out...but I know I have shared in the past. (However, I may have wiped it off first with a napkin!) But I don't mind if a close friend or SO shares a bite of something off of their fork to me. Weird.

I don't mind sharing utensils with Hubbo or my kids but I'm more fond of the idea to pass my utensils on rather than interchangeably using it after. The only thing Hubbo and I can't share utensils on is ice cream. I need to have my own spoon. Weird, huh? Lol.

If it's my mom I will share utensils. Friends I'll let sip drinks, but that's about it, lol.

I don't like it, but it happens. Which annoys me. I need to get better at saying "no."

With my husband yes. Not to be gross but you swap spit when you kiss so what's the difference? I do not like sharing with other people i have with my sisters but i don't really like to do that.

We've never yet been in a situation that called for it, but I'd share with my boyfriend no problem. No one else, though.

For sure with my boyfriend, but with a friend the most I would do is let them take a sip of something to try it...
