Do You Know Bold and Pungent Foods?

Believe it or not, today is Cook Something Bold and Pungent Day. There are many wonderful things out there that are both bold and pungent (mmm... garlic) and I suggest that you pick your favorite bold ingredients and get cooking! I'm not sure why or how this holiday came about, but to celebrate, let's take a quiz on bold and/or pungent foods. You ready?

6 out of 7. I must know my stinky foods! Mmm... fish sauce! Can't live without it. To answer AbbyHintz, I've had durian candy but not the actual fruit. I've seen it, but I've never smelled it. It's too big of a fruit to try just one little piece.

Woot. I only got the curry one wrong, which makes sense, because I know NOTHING about curry. Anyways... A while back my mom and I tried durian.. Not to diss people that enjoy it, but considering I didn't grow up with it, and its not part of my culture or anything, I really didn't like it. The smell wasn't so bad, but the texture was strange for the flavour. It had the texture of sort of a grainy custard, but it tasted like burning salty... stuff.
