love it, how else can you make home made salsa?

I love it. I am making a salad for the 4th of July and the dressing consists mainly of cilantro.

Haha, I already left my hateful comments under the 'Cilantro Martini' post. I find cilantro highly offensive. For those of you who love it, live in NYC and like Indian food, I highly recommend going to Tabla. That kitchen seems to think that EVERY SINGLE DISH needs it (and yes, I'm bitter).

i LOVE it...like other commenters, i tastes "fresh" to me. it brightens the flavor of whatever it's in - salsa, guac, marinades, salads. i'm vietnamese and we eat a TON of it in most of our dishes as part of the herb/greens plate.

I love cilantro! I just put some chopped cilantro into my home-made salsa a while ago and it was definitely the missing ingredient. :)

I have heard that before--that people think it tastes like soap. I personally love it though.

I discovered I hate cilantro. I've never had a problem with it before - I eat at Mexican restaurants all the time and love the salsa. But I bought some fresh cilantro to make The Pioneer Woman's guacamole and the smell left on my hands from cutting it up just made me sick. I didn't eat any of the pico de gallo or the guac. Now I will never use it again. Glad I'm not the only one...I really thought I was!!

Blech, I hate cilantro; it's probably the thing I like the least food-wise.

Yuck yuck yuck...for me, it ruins Mexican food!

I can only take it in doses. It tastes like soap to me sometimes. And I hate when I accidentally choose it instead of Italian parsley, and I gotta go all the way back to the store...aargh!

ahhhhh.... you guys caught me. It's actually ridiculous that I put up the wrong image, we always have tons of cilantro in the house (I even have some growing in my backyard!) and as TeamSugar tells me, "I like it on everything" I can't believe I got it wrong, thanks for pointing it out. I guess that's what happens when you think you're coherent enough to work at 2:30 in the morning... ! thanks guys!

ash_marisa... those are definitely not cilantro leaves, they are definitely grape leaves. I am in the wine business, I know a grape leaf when I see one.

I'm in the minority here, but I really HATE the taste of cilantro; I avoid any dishes that list it as an ingredient.
