It depends what you consider "spicy" I like to use hot peppers, but one persons idea of hot is another person's idea of too mild.

Also I buy this dumpling sauce and it has a very spicey flavor however not to the point of steam coming out your ears; I love it since it has a perfect balance of calm & spicey.

Depends on the dish and how hot the spices are. I love rice with tumuric (sp?), curry and ginger zest (w/ red bell pepper, tomato and green peppers mixed in.) I also love indian food (spinach with rice, curry and chick peas is delish!)On a sclae from mild to hot... I can handle up to a medium. What some people find spicey tastes very mild to me (some people are very sensitive) so my handle on spices ranges from dish to dish.

I absolutely love spicy food. I put hot sauce on eggs, chili sauce on pizza, and sriracha on hot dogs. And I make my own spicy chili sauce if I can't find it.

I love hot and spicy but not so hot that your tongue goes numb. I like hot and spicy and flavorful.

Also a Louisianian, spicy is basically a food group here. I love cayenne, but nothing beats a jalapeno for me. I can eat nacho jalapenos from the jar, mmmmmm.

Honestly, I prefer my food not spicy (yay for totally living up the Midwestern stereotype). But seeing as I am about to head off to South Korea, where basically nothing without gochujang (red chile pepper paste) can be considered authentic Korean food, I'm going to have to deal. It'll be ok, though, cause Korean food is delicious =)

I enjoy experimenting with different pepper varieties and getting to know which ones add character and spice to a dish and which ones just bring heat to the table.

I love hot food. Hot enough to make your nose run and your forehead sweat. Of course, food that's not supposed to be spicy hot I don't want to be hot, but I love the heat. I am not the one to ask is something's spicy since my normal is hot to others.

Spicy is ok, as long as it is not the focal point of the meal. It is best served as an additional wammy on top of an already delicous taste sensation.
