Do You Like Raisins In Your Cookies?

The folks at Threadless have come up with another fantastic shirt. This time it's a simple chocolate chip cookie with the words, "Stupid Raisins, Stay Out of my Cookies." Personally I have to agree. Although I like raisins, I rarely like them in my cookies. How about you? Do you like raisins in your cookies?

My husband loves oatmeal raisin cookies. I really like the Pillsbury ones after I pick out the raisins.

I do like oatmeal-raisin a lot. Since Lovaajn fessed up, here's my big confession... I hate chocolate chip cookies. I like chocolate, but in a cookie, it becomes too cloyingly sweet.

Oatmeal raisin cookies are my favorite. Making them plain old oatmeal is just wussy.

I just really HATE when you see a cookie (be it at a social get-together, a store, or elsewhere) and you THINK it's chocolate chip, but lo and behold...

I LOVE a good, soft & chewy oatmeal raisin cookie. Mmmmmm. But I have two GF's (sisters, actually) that absolutely HATE raisins and always refer to them as, "gelatinous pustules". BWAAHAAHAAHAA!!!

I hate raisins, but I have to put up with them because it's next to impossible to get oatmeal (my fav) without them.

ugh... raisins do not belong in cookies, or cinnamon rolls... I don't mind raisins on their own, but raisins baked into something just bother me!

Lovaajn - you're not alone, I hated it for years too. Something changed recently and I can tolerate it in small amounts (ie - chocolate dipped strawberries) but I still avoid it in general.

Only oatmeal raisin, otherwise raisins are a no-no for me in cookies. Other dried fruit is ok, but there is something about raisins that I find really off-putting.
