We usually only have beer and wine here... but if it's for a party or special occasion, we always make cocktails! :drinks:
I LOVE making cocktails! I have a very cool crystal shaker with 2 different sets of martini glasses. Often I have my girlfriends over, sit on the patio chatting and sipping!
Yes!! and I'm getting into it even more. Even if I don't use it that much I love having a little bar set up. It's SO cute and fun!
I tend to keep a few staples(brandy&coke)and a bottle of wine in my fridge.If i buy beer it's usually to drink with friends so occasionally i'll have a few left over.

These days it's only beer and wine a home, but I'm a HUGE martini fan. Kettle one, shaken, a little dirty - perfection! I used to make them at home but it gets too pricey... and you get drunk too quickly!
i never really have any hard liquor at home, except for the occasional bottle of wine and beers in the fridge. no mixology for me.
I'm really starting to resent the term "Mixologst." Along with my annoyance by anything that is "extreme" it will go in the Lexicon of annoyances.
I have a very well stocked bar at home... and make cocktails maybe twice a year. It's really a shame and a waste of good liquor. If only I wasn't in the lab 80 hours/week and had time for a drink more frequently than once every 3-4 months...
I like to try a couple of new drinks (making them at home) a month. Usually I will try a new liquor then search on-line for drink recipes.
