I use my smaller one a lot more often – it’s easier to clean. And the stick blender gets a lot of use, particularly for soups and smoothies. ladypenguin 6 years When we got married, we didn't really have a need for one, so just went with a $50 mini-processor. Two years later, my husband's on a special diet that requires us to cook everything from scratch and it seems like we could use one every week. I'd love to get one, but the price tag has been holding me back. starangel82 6 years I have one, but I could live without it. tlsgirl 6 years I have a Kitchenaid processor that I use constantly. I got it as a Christmas present in '07 and now I don't know how I ever got by without one. NotMeAnymore 6 years lawchick - TWIN! I use mine for pesto, as well. My sister gave me a KitchenAid mini prep a few years ago; I prefer it to Cuisinart's mini-prep. What I recommend above all, though, is Cuisinart's SmartStick. Check it out - you'll love it!!
