Domino's Pizza To Do Sandwiches

Domino's Pizza To Do Sandwiches

Last week Jack in the Box expanded their breakfast menu to include brunch bowls, and this week Domino's Pizza has announced plans to introduce submarine sandwiches. The pizza delivery chain will offer four different kinds of baked sandwiches, including a Chicken Bacon Ranch sandwich and a Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. The $4.99 sandwiches will be delivered with or without a pizza order. With the sandwiches, which are available to order beginning on Aug. 25, Domino's hopes to increase lunch sales. Last Spring, Pizza Hut added pasta to their menu, so it's no surprise that Domino's is looking for other ways to grow profits. What do you think about the expansion? Will you try Domino's sandwiches?

Okay, I ordered a Chicken Parm sandwich and they absolutely suck. It was 2 slivers of chicken and a block of cheese. It didn't even have a top on mine, for goodness sake!

I wouldn't eat them

Pictures: Also I hate to break it to you, but someone in the comments has said that they've been in their area (I believe they said St. Louis all summer) so maybe that's where mo_ri_ah lives and did have one last week. I think you're being just a tad harsh.

pictures: just curious...but I'm guessing you work for domino's?

Whoa. That's not cool.

I tried one of those sandwiches last week. It was absolutely horrible. Honestly pure crap. The worst sandwich I have ever had. It tasted like a salt-lick. The sodium content on their food must be absolutely outrageous. On a positive note. the addition of banana peppers is a nice touch as a pizza topping. I'm not a big pizza fan, but when you add a grip of those, I can get into it!

I had to pick up 20 pizza's for lunch yesterday for work and saw these advertised. It's interesting but with all of the little sandwich shops everywhere....why would you get one from Domino's??

They actually brought samples by my work yesterday and the chicken parm wasn't awful. Alot of people ordered them after we got the samples. Ah, one of the perks of being a hungry nurse!

I might try one w/out the top bun on it. That will make my mom happy though. I don't want to try Pizza Hut's pasta. I try to stay away from pasta, rice, breads.. so I don't intend on eating their pasta anytime soon. Also, I don't know if it's just me or whatever but the idea of pasta from their just doesn't appeal to me.

Is this specific to larger areas, or nationwide? I'm still waiting for pizza chains to offer salads as an option. It just amazes me that if they can deliver "fresh" pizza ingredients, they can't deliver fresh salad options.

These must have been test-marketed in St. Louis becuase we have had them since the beginning of summer. I haven't tried one yet, but I want to.

No thanks, anything from Dominos freaks me out.

I'll probably try them, since the only places that deliver to my house are Chinese restaurants and Domino's.

i'm not really a sandwich person but those do look kind of good - i think that if i ate meat - and bread - i would go for it.

Nope. The only things I ever order from pizza places are the Pizza Hut Baked Wings.

Nada. Domino's pizza tastes like cardboard and there are plenty of other sandwich shops around my area that deliver and offer a far better selection of sandwiches.

I loathe pizza so I would eat it if it was my alternative to eating pizza, but I wouldn't seek it out. Also, I don't think to-do should have a hyphen. (Sorry, compulsive proofreader :) )

Probably not, I don't think I've ever eaten at Domino's. They don't look bad though.

Nah, there are already pizza joints that do this and since Domino's is pretty crappy pizza I don't think I'll pay to try one out.

Nope, but it means that now they offer banana peppers as a topping, so I'm more likely to order pizza from them!
