Let's Dish: What's Your Favorite Chinese Course?

I've got Chinese food on the brain after a lengthy interview with the Cooking Channel personality Ching He Huang about essential Chinese ingredients and kitchen tools. As a Chinese-American myself, I'm a bit biased, but I do believe that Chinese food is one of the world's most colorful and versatile cuisines.

When it comes to Chinese cooking, I'm well studied in just about everything, from stir-fries, sesame chicken, and Sichuan hot pot. One of my favorite dishes is Hong Kong-style chow mein: thin, wavy noodles browned in oil until golden and crispy at the edges, then topped with a hoisin sauce and wok-fried snow peas, carrots, chicken or pork, and mushrooms. What do you reach for when you're craving Chinese?

So many....Cream Pecan Prawn, Sesame Chicken, Orange Peel Beef, Mongolian Beef, and my all time favorite although it's not Chinese is Pad Thai. Also love Hot and Sour Soup and Wonton Soup, they really do cure all.

I don't know if this count as Chinese food, but I love Singaporean Mee Fun noodles. Even though I would smell like a barn after eating it, I still love eating it.

I love dim sum — especially for breakfast. My favorites include potstickers, sweet rice balls, and Peking duck buns. I also love noodle dishes; it's bad, but I can eat chow fun all day long.

Oooh, tough call! Depending on my mood, usually wonton soup, fried rice, or some kind of broccoli/cashew chicken. And now I'm craving Chinese food, thanks. :)

I'm currently grooving pretty heavily on the spicy lettuce wraps put out by an incredible local and little Mom and Pop restaurant. :feedme: In fact, I now may just have to make a din din run to Nha Sang tonight!
