It seems like Summer just arrived a few minutes ago. And now, already, its essence is beginning to fade with the fanfare of back to school and Fall festivities taking its place. I'm not quite ready to let Summer go. Instead, the plan is to consume massive amounts of fruit in hopes that the deliciousness of Summer will stick around for as long as possible. Sticking fruit on toothpicks to make adorable little skewers, and serving them with a cheerful orange blossom water dip lets you partake in — nay, cling to — the last scraps of Summer with others.

Creamy Orange Blossom Dip With Mini Fruit Skewers
1 cup heavy cream
4 teaspoons orange blossom water
2 teaspoons honey
2 tablespoons sour cream
1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
Squeeze of fresh lemon juice
Using a stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment, beat the heavy cream until it holds stiff peaks. Place the orange blossom water, honey, sour cream, lemon zest, and squeeze of fresh lemon juice in the bowl, and use the paddle attachment to gently mix together. Refrigerate.
Make the miniature fruit skewers by placing an apricot slice, strawberry, and mint leaf on each toothpick. Repeat until you create the desired number of fruit skewers. Drizzle with just a bit of lemon juice. Serve with the creamy orange blossom dip.
