Halloween Chocolate Bowls Instructions

Any Halloween Dessert Is Better When Served in an Edible Chocolate Bowl!

Haunted houses and Halloween parties have gotten pretty impressive, we have to admit, but nothing wins in the adorably festive category more than these Halloween chocolate bowls! Decorated to look like your favorite Halloween characters, these dessert bowls will make any goblin and ghoul howl at the next monster mash. Fill them with candy, ice cream, pumpkin pudding, or whatever sweet you wish.

Halloween Character Bowls

Ingredients

  1. For the pumpkins:
    3 packages orange candy melts, melted and slightly cooled
    1 package chocolate candy melts, melted and slightly cooled
    6 balloons
  1. For the skeletons:
    3 packages white candy melts, melted and slightly cooled
    1 package chocolate candy melts, melted and slightly cooled
    6 balloons
  1. For the vampires:
    3 packages chocolate candy melts, melted and slightly cooled
    1 package red candy melts, melted and slightly cooled
    1 package white candy melts, melted and slightly cooled
    6 balloons

Directions

  1. To make the pumpkins: Dip inflated balloons into melted orange candy melts. Let cool. Repeat the process and refrigerate bowls until firm.
  2. Fill a pastry bag fitted with a fine tip with chocolate candy melts, and pipe a jack-o'-lantern face on the front of the candy bowl. Let cool and refrigerate if necessary.
  3. Once candy bowls are cooled, use a pin to pop the balloon and remove any remaining balloon scraps left inside the bowl.
  4. To make the skeletons: Dip inflated balloons into melted white candy melts. Let cool. Repeat the process and refrigerate bowls until firm.
  5. Fill a pastry bag fitted with a fine tip with chocolate candy melts, and pipe a skeleton face on the front of the candy bowl. Let cool and refrigerate if necessary.
  6. Once candy bowls are cooled, use a pin to pop the balloon and remove any remaining balloon scraps left inside the bowl.
  7. To make the vampires: Dip inflated balloons into melted chocolate candy melts. Let cool. Repeat the process and refrigerate bowls until firm.
  8. Fill a pastry bag fitted with a fine tip with white candy melts, and pipe a smile and vampire teeth onto the bowl. Use melted red candy melts and add a spooky drizzle of blood on the front of the candy bowl. Let cool and refrigerate if necessary.
  9. Once candy bowls are cooled, use a pin to pop the balloon and remove any remaining balloon scraps left inside the bowl. Use the red candy melts to add blood dripping from the top edge of the bowl.
