Just boil some potatoes and corn and briefly throw in the crab before serving on newspaper. What else should I through in at my next feast? There was a joint on Rt. 15 just north of Frederick that had the whole scene, newspaper covered tables, wooden mallets, and bowls of melted butter and cocktail sauce. They brought you blue crabs by the BUCKETFUL, and, paired with ice cold beers, it was a FEAST !!! Crab feasts in the summer are a huge part of our culture. I definitely miss them when I have moved to other parts of the country. Spectra 6 years Um, I live in Wisconsin. We do not have crab boils/crab feeds/etc. unless you count the Krab salad they have at the all-you-can-eat buffets, lol. SOOOOO GOOD! chiefdishwasher 6 years There is one every week somewhere in northern Ca. They are popular fundraisers. Usually for $25-35 you can eat fresh crab for hours. Usually served with pasta, garlic bread (pass on both) and salad. It's amazing in all the ways something can be amazing ilanac13 6 years it's funny - all the years that i lived in Maryland i never went to one, and now i just have zero desire since i'm not a fish/crab eater. Chaoticfury 6 years We do this every summer in Philly. Usually before Odunde. So manys different dips and recipes. Boiled, baked, and always lots of newspaper.
