DCStar 5 years Yes - so sweet and delish! But it must be super-fresh, otherwise the meat is flaky and dry. hexentanz 5 years If it is anything like Dungeness crab I will be all over it! danakscully64 5 years I didn't eat much crab growing up, it was expensive and for special occasions. I've only had King Crab leg. Now I'm a vegetarian, so no crab for me :) 5 years The people who catch Stone crabs are allowed to tear off both claws leaving the Stone Crab with no way to protect himself or anyway to feed himself. To me this is cruel.I would like to tear off both of the arms of the people who do this and see how they like it. I have not eaten any Stone Crabs since the game commission people passed that law allowing crabbers to tear off both claws leaving the poor crab helpless and at the mercy of predators. I have seen stone crab legs up as much as $30 @lb ...That means the shell is half the weight .Which means that you are paying $60 dollars a lb for crab meat. Wake up people and get a life. I myself would rather eat Lobster meat for $19 @ Lb. PinkNC 5 years Nope...I can't stand the taste of crap meat. Spectra 5 years Nah, I've never had it. I'd like to try it sometime though.
