Yesterday, for lunch, the kind folks at Mezzetta sent us a couple of delicious eggplant tartines made by chef David Bazirgan. The sandwiches are a part of the brand's just-launched sandwich competition, Make That Sandwich. The recipe contest has both a celebrity chef (which Bazirgan is competing in) and home-cook category. Although I've never entered a recipe contest, for some reason, I'm toying with the idea of developing a hot sandwich and submitting it. How about you?
