Made with Marieke gouda from Wisconsin, caraway, cumin, and caramelized onions. Paired with a 2007 Jean Luc Columbo "Le Redonne" 2007 Côtes du Rhône.
Italian bread filled with Carr Valley Cheese Company's Benedictine, a sheep and cow's blend that was ultra creamy, as well as serrano ham, piquillo peppers, and Spanish paprika butter.
Garlic Parmesan Cheddar
Not your traditional melting cheddar — a sharper Hook's cheddar from Wisconsin, sandwiched between two squares of toasted sourdough bread with garlic parmesan butter. This was inspired by Laura's childhood garlic bread experiments with her best friend!
Guryere and Gorgonzola with Hazelnut Butter
This sandwich was as close as one can get to a "dessert" grilled cheese. The combination of gruyere and gorgonzola cheese with sweet honey and hazelnut essence was a revelation, and paired perfectly with a Jackson-Trigg 2007 Icewine.
