Lego Snacks: Play With Your Food

It's pretty obvious that the folks over at Kellogg's never listened when they were told not to play with their food. They've now teamed up with the folks at Lego to come up with Lego shaped "fun snacks." I wonder if they stack like real Legos. Just imagine, you could build a house and then devour it. You know you want too... just don't get the snacks mixed up with the real Legos, okay?

According to the packaging, the new fruit snacks come in three flavors, grape, cherry and something they're calling "graperry" which I'm assuming is grape and cherry combined. Also, the box has six colors shown, so why only three flavors? Maybe the elusive "graperry" is actually a quad-colored fruit?

Available in packs of 10 at a grocery store near you.

I saw this earlier and bought them this afternoon, and I must say they're your basic every-day fruit snack. Although the odd flavor Graperry (which I think the "erry" is more of a berry type flavor) is a good toss-in to make them different. I love fruit snacks, because they're really easy to grab on the go, and the kid in me still likes to look at all the shapes. And these are just fun (though un-stackable :/) -Bug

LOL @ kiddylnd! I think i would a gree with you, BUT I am such a HUGE LEGO FAN I think when i have kids if these are still around, I will prolly buy them these. I might buy them for myself. :-) _________________________________________________________ Why don't you wear the face you have when I am not around?

Yes, because us mothers want our boys (or girls, I just have a boy is all) playing with this, getting sticky and then finding a LEGO smushed into the rug somewhere. Maybe it's my OCD, maybe I'm a freak, but I don't want my kids playing with the food I buy them. I'll stick to the Hello Kitty Pop Tarts thankyouverymuch.

I think they're adorable and I'm looking forward to trying them. Mandiesoh - it was Red Dye #2 that was thought to cause cancer back in the 70s. But I'm with you, I don't trust blue food.

I think this is a WONDERFUL way of teaching your kids to eat legos and then choke...but I am a die hard, closet lego fan and even at the ripe old age of 26 collect and still pull out once in a while to assemble them. :-) _________________________________________________________ Why don't you wear the face you have when I am not around?

its a cute idea, but im not a fan of coloured foods. i heard once that artificially coloured foods are cancerous, so i freak when i have to eat like..BLUE stuff. :barf:
