Mango Lassi

Notes
We're partial to whole-milk dairy in this recipe, but use whatever you prefer. For an alternative garnish, try a sprinkling of chopped pistachios.
Ingredients
- 1 mango (about 1 cup), peeled and coarsely chopped
1 cup plain yogurt
1/3 cup milk
1 tablespoon honey, or to taste
Scant pinch of salt
Pinch of freshly ground cardamom (optional), for garnish
Directions
- Blend together the mango, yogurt, milk, honey, and salt until smooth. Taste, and adjust with extra honey or salt.
- If your mango is particularly fibrous, strain the lassi through a fine-mesh strainer; otherwise, pour into a glass, and sprinkle with cardamom if using.
Makes 1 drink.
