If you love the classic combination of melon and [xx] then try our twist on the classic with Jamon Serrano, cantaloupe and a little drizzle oil all on one skewer. Here's what you need: olive oil, fresh basil leaves, cantaloupe, water packed mozzarella mozzarella balls, [xx] serrano, freshly ground black pepper. First grab your food processor. You're going to combine the basil and the olive oil give it a whir until it's well blended. Next prep your melon. i'm going to grab a wedge of cantaloupe and cut each wedge into one inch mini Mozzarella balls work great for this recipe, but if you can't find them you can also use a large 8 ounce Mozzarella ball and cut it into squares instead. Now jamon Serrano, it's a dry cured ham, that's made in Spain. Look for it, as thinly sliced as possible, and if you can't find it, Italian speck would work well too. Now it's time for the fun part. the skewers. The best part about this recipe is that it can me made entirely ahead. Or, even better, you can have your friends over for a little assembly party. Don't worry about the order. But basically you just want to alternate ham, melon and mozzarella. Repeat and til your skewers completely full, now all you have to do is arrange the skewers on a pretty platter. Sprinkle it with a little bit of freshly ground black pepper and then give it a little drizzle of your basil oil, there you have it. It's time to taste our mini masterpieces. It smells so fresh and light at the same time. The result is really simple yet elegant. I love the symphony of flavors. The sweetness of the cantaloupe and the saltiness of the hamone. With the creaminess of the mozzarella and the herbaceous pungent basil oil. thanks for watching and see you next time for another taste of yum sugar tv.
