Off to Market: Compost Pail

Since I'm determined to keep up with my resolution to start composting, I have to purchase a compost pail. This is where I need your assistance: Let's head off to market in search of cool compost pails. I live in a studio apartment, so look for bins that are compact, modern, and stylish — if it's sitting on my kitchen counter I want it to be pretty. Save the compost pails in the Yum Market on TeamSugar with the keyword tag, Compost Pail. Thanks for helping me go green!

Hmmm... this will be interesting to see. I've been wanting to start my own compost in my parents yard . . . starting one in a kitchen would be easier lol.

This would not work in my apt, the smell alone would kill me. Ijust dump stuff in my backyard, hahahaha.

This is going to be my year to get our little backyard planted and I'm hot to compost. I really like paper bag in the freezer trick. It will give me something to do with all my Trader Joe bags :-)

The one in the photo looks like it would be heavy! And too small. Since paper can go into the compost, I get paper bags at the grocery, keep one under the sink to put my scraps in, and the put the whole bag in. I used a bucket for a while but it's so hard to keep it from getting disgusting.

just use an empty coffee can, then you are reusing something instead of buying sometime brand new. WASTEFUL.
