Old Bay Hummus

Old Bay Hummus


  1. 1 1/2 tablespoons tahini [2]
  2. Juice of 2 lemons
  3. 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  4. 1 (15-ounce) can chickpeas, liquid reserved
  5. 1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning
  6. Salt and white pepper, to taste


  1. Puree tahini, lemon juice, and garlic in a food blender for one minute, until smooth.
  2. Add the chickpeas, one tablespoon of the reserved bean liquid, and Old Bay, and puree another two to three minutes, until smooth.
  3. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
