I'm all about the variety, so when I splurge on wine, I like to buy different varieties so I end up taking a "case" of different ones home. Spectra 5 years Nah, we barely ever drink wine, so I only probably buy one or two bottles a year. GummiBears 5 years No. I don't drink much wine and I don't host parties. bluesarahlou 5 years I live in wine country, near tons of great wineries. So when they have case specials we jump on them. And I totally don't mean this to sound wine snobby, but I wouldn't ever buy a case of Chuck when there are incredible wines at great prices nearby. :) socalbeachgal 5 years Yes, when I have a party, usually a case of my favorite white and a case of red. Other times, it has been a mixed case to get the discount (and it all gets drunk somehow). Hello890 5 years Yes, for my wedding we bought lots of cases. omega2 5 years No, I haven't bought a case of wine...although I have bought enough wine to have to get a case to carry it home, if that makes sense and you understand the difference. Although lately I have kind of been itching to just splurge and get a case of my favorite! shimysugar 5 years yes, it was Chariot from Trader Joe's. THE BEST!! Soniabonya 5 years yep. i have bought several cases of different wines, though not all at once. My father recently purchased a case of Zin, 05 from a small vineyard called James Creek up in Pope Valley. Sooooo freaking good. well worth the buy and the shipment. mrsld 5 years Yum- Don't think of it as "blowing" the money think of it as "investing in your happiness and culinary delight" then you'll be amazed how much quicker you find $100! Food 5 years Next time I have, oh, at least $100 to blow, I'd love to buy a mixed case at my local wine shop. lawchick 5 years It's a 10-20% discount, so yes- I buy cases of our "everyday wine" (Yellowtail). mrsld 5 years All the time. It is such a better deal if you know you like the wine. On ones we aren't as "in love" with we go splits with our good friend. mamasitamalita 5 years yes and it was definitely Charles Shaw :D bluebellknoll 5 years A looong time ago a friend and I bought and entire grocery cart worth of wine. I think it was about 6-8 cases worth...and it wasn't Two Buck Chuck. fuzzles 5 years Two Buck Chuck!
