Have You Ever Tried Home Delivery Meals?

When I sampled a gourmet meal kit from local company Cook! San Francisco, I wondered how many of you have experimented with similar home delivery meals. Have you?

No, seems like a waste of money.

i just got back from the store- $40 - and I really didn't buy much: Some juice, milk, apples, hamburger...home delivered meals??? I might be able to afford Meals on Wheels - but I'm not old enough to qualify as a senior.

Weffie, I get produce delivered also, but that's it for me. Mek, I haven't heard much from people who get delivery service for a family, but my sister and several of my friends, all of whom have children, have gone to those places where you prepare a week's worth of meals there and then just heat them up in the oven each night and they have all had great things to say! I know you said you work long hours so I don't know if that would be an option for you, but if you could find a few hours on a Sunday, it might be worth it.

I have ordered from omaha steaks, that's the extent of my delivery meals.

I have thought about it and would like to hear others experience with meal home delivery for a family. Sometimes when I have to work long hours it is such a struggle to prep and cook.

Not meals, but I get organic local produce delivered. It comes in a big Rubbermaid bin that they pick up and refill though, the pic above looks like a ridiculous waste of packaging IMO.

I was looking for one that I could use when I return to work but so few service SF and offer a Wheat-free Gluten free menu like these guys. For certain weeks it may be worth the price.
