However, had Tokyo been in the list, that city would definitely have gotten my vote. Eating a fresh sushi on the market nearby the water with bare feet : unforgettable. ilanac13 7 years i've been to many of those cities (thank goodness for study abroad) and i have to say that london and paris are still my all time favs...but since i've never been to hong kong or rome...those are up there too haze1nut 7 years OMG! how is TOKYO not on here?!?! wasn't it voted like the best city for food?? if it was on the list, i'd def. choose Tokyo Giasbash6260 7 years So I went to HONG KONG and stayed at the Shangri la Hotel and I was SO LUCKY! There was a restaurant in the hotel called CAFE TWO and well, lets just say it was an ALL YOU CAN EAT restaurant that features cuisine from EVERYWHERE in the world! You name a country: the food was there! I would go up for 5ths, it was THAT GOOD! The people behind the counter would tell me that I ate a TON and I would just say: "What do you expect, I am American!" HAHAH! DCStar 7 years Anybody in the know will say Barcelona, or San Sebastian, Spain. Spain is at the top of the game right now in terms of innovation, and deliciously prepared food. juliegal 7 years in my opinion...there is NO question that PARIS is #1 ...paris creates luxe rich sauces, complex flavors and techniques that are the epitome of fine dining throughout the world.... Food 7 years not sure how we forgot tokyo! i would have to agree that city has some amazing eats! It's actually really tough to pick only one city, can we do a food tour instead??? marcella 7 years I love Mexican food, so I picked Mexico City. Getting traditional dishes is worth the visit there! My grandparents own a fish market...so just imagine.....but you have to like seafood alot! wambalus 7 years Seville and Florence have some of the best regional cuisine, but the best city I've eaten in was actually Berlin. Terrific cuisine from all over the world - Turkish, Sudanese, Mediterranean, you name it. lil-l 7 years mmm, I picked Paris! haute77 7 years I would have to say Paris, Rome, and then London. I can't comment on the rest of the cities because I haven't been there. Chocolate, cheese, wine, and baked goods, mmm. That's all I ate while I was there. London? Definitely not, unless I had a huge vacation budget. You don't have it on there but I love German food and Munich is tops! I didn't really like the food in Barcelona but I think I made bad choices.
