CoronaLove 7 years I ABSOLUTELY HATE BROWN BANANAS. IT IS ONE OF MY MAJOR PET PEEVES TO GO TO SOMEONES HOUSE AND SEE BROWN OR SPOTTED BANANAS. MY BOYFRIENDS MOM ALWAYS BUYS BANANAS AND NEVER, EVER, EATS THEM. SHE HAS A FREEZER FULL OF DARK BROWN BANANAS. EVERYTIME I GET A CHANCE I THROW A COUPLE AWAY. SLIGHTLY GREEN AND MOSTLY YELLOW IS MY BANANA CHOICE. milosmommy 7 years "i prefer bananas that are still slightly green and mostly yellow. no spots at all please. i won't eat it if it has spots. i hate the way overly ripe bananas smell and taste."........Ditto! ilanac13 7 years i like my bananas to be just a little green, and slightly firm....not hard though. MsMO 7 years I buy green because they don't always get eaten right away so then they ripen, I eat the yellow and hope for some mushy brown ones left so I can make banana bread. No reason to see a nanner go to waste. simplyfab87 7 years I won't eat a banana if there is not some brown on it. Doesn't taste right other wise Kate-Marie 7 years To eat plain, I like ripe, yellow bananas. But I also love to put mashed, overripe bananas in my oatmeal, once they've gotten brown. The only thing the ones with brown spots on are for is banana bread. limelindsey 7 years I'm with millysaps. They have to be green on the ends and yellow in the middle - NO SPOTS! Overripe bananas remind me of fake banana flavoring in candy, which I can't stand. If any of my bananas get to the spotty phase, I save them for banana bread, or banana pancakes. brittanyk 7 years I like yellow bananas. If they have a couple brown spots, I'll live :P Green bananas make my stomach upset for some reason. LesleyP825 7 years Perfect yellow bananas all the way!
