Which Clam Chowder Reigns Supreme?

New York may have beaten New England at the Super Bowl, but I want to know who would've won the chowder bowl? Would New York (aka Manhattan) clam chowder take home the prize or will New England clam chowder win it all? Vote for your team below!

mmmm - I just love Manhattan clam chowder! NE is okay, but too gooey and creamy for me. Give me clams and tomatoes, and I'm happy!

I don't eat either one. And until just now, I'd never even seen the Manhattan before. I always wondered about that line in Ace Ventura. What's the password? "New England clam chowder" Is that the red, or the white? I was always like, WTF? Clam chowder doesn't come in red! You learn something every day.

I HATE Manhattan clam chowder. Maybe I just haven't had the good stuff, but New England clam chowder (in a sourdough bowl) definitely takes the cake for me.

I knew I'd be in the minority with the Manhattan chowder, but I can't eat New England chowder anymore because of my diary allergies. Besides, I'm a New YAWKA, so I've got to stand behind my soup!

I love them both. New England, when good, is definitely my favorite. But it's kind of hit or miss. Bad New England is disgusting, but Manhattan is consistently good with any recipe.

I've only ever had Manhattan clam chowder once... but that's only because it's so darn hard to find! I definitely prefer it.Voting for the underdog here!
