Decide between, yet another, run-of-the-mill chick-flick or a show for hardcore travel and food enthusiasts? It stayed true to Mostly Martha and didn't "Americanize" it too much to ruin it! I pretty well enjoy any movie that features awesome looking food though! As for Anthony Bourdain, I think he's simply fantastic and would probably watch anything he's involved with, though some of what he eats I can't even look at! rb24 8 years I love Anthony Bourdain. I am so excited for a new season of his show sweetheart_450 8 years I'm looking forward to the movie! I've never heard of Anthony Bourdain though, so that was an easy choice. mollywog 8 years I just love Anthony Bourdain!! There's just something about his NY bad boy image that makes him so much fun to watch. I love his books too. I won't go see the movie in the theater, but will probably rent it when it comes out on DVD. RetroChristal 8 years I love Anthony Bourdain, and he makes me want to travel and eat weird things. Not to weird of course, I draw the line at brains or anything that could kill me. redsugar 8 years Gah! That's funny to say Tony is on Food Network. I already watched the movie the first time around when it was Mostly Martha. Gimme Tony please. ktownpolarbear 8 years definitely both! :) Food 8 years lala - bourdain's show is actually on the travel channel and it airs on monday's at 10pm. it's definitely worth checking out! Tech 8 years I want to see the movie - I saw the original and loved it. I'll admit, I have been grumbling about them only making a remake because most American viewers aren't into reading subtitles, but I'm still excited to see it. LaLaLaurie06 8 years I'm excited for the movie. I'm not sure if I'll watch the TV show. When does it come on? The good Food Network stuff always comes on while I'm at work. :( mwmsjuly19 8 years I'll rent the movie someday and watch the show. Anthony Bourdain is so grumpy and fun to watch. I love his willingness to eat anything and to pay culinary respects to all the cultures he comes into contact with. Sharing food is a big deal in many countries and it's considered an honor to be fed! He even ate some kind of raw mammal on an Inuit family's kitchen floor, blood, guts, eyeballs and all. I almost gagged, but he was a champ -- and the family was so sweet.
