Wolfgang Puck Debuts a 3D Dessert at This Year's Governors Ball

Regardless of who takes home the gold, this year's Academy Awards is bound to have a sweet finish. Why? Because Wolfgang Puck, the chef behind the longtime postawards Governors Ball, has announced that he's adding a new item to this year's menu: a confection in 3D! Wolfgang has been the official chef for the Governors Ball for several years, and this year, while he'll be serving plenty of his standby recipes, he's also introducing some new dishes including a 3D dessert. This is an amazing spread, but what have you added that's new for this year's The whole way how we gonna present the menu and we gonna serve it is totally new, instead of a formal, sit-down dinner. So we gonna bring out food to them all night long. No one will go hungry on Oscar night. Nobody will go hungry, and I think it's almost like a Japanese Kiseki dinner, where you absolutely can eat 10 or 12 courses of small portions. Sure. Peope are going to enjoy it, especially the younger people. I think they're going to say wow this is a cool way to eat and you know... thing is the big finale, having desserts in 3D. I think it's the first time we're going to eat in 3D. So, you're actually going to pass out glasses to all the guests so they can see the 3D dessert? Absolutely. Everybody gonna have glasses, including me. Don't I look cool with the glasses? I like them. They're very cool. I know. You look beautiful in 3D. Thank you, so how did you go about developing a 3D dessert? Well I think its you develop the dessert and then when you look through it 3D it really looks different. Wow! Beautiful. And you can see in 3D, it's just like on a camera. Everything jumps out of the screen. Everything jumps out here. So it's really a different vision of the Done.
