Would You Rather Eat Big or Small Oysters?

Last weekend I was lucky enough to enjoy oysters, beer, and live music at San Francisco's 11th annual Oysterfest. While slurping a dozen giant raw oysters from Drakes Bay Oyster Farm, I realized I much prefer small oysters to large ones. How about you?

The local oysters here (Powell River, British Columbia) are on the large size and they are the best oysters I have ever had. Plus, I prefer my oysters cooked (my husband once got paralytic shellfish poisoning from our oyster stew--we figure it wasn't cooked all the way through--on Christmas Eve and it was the most horrible thing to have to watch him go through), and the big ones, in my experience, make for better cooking oysters.
