Would You Rather Eat Jambalaya or Red Beans and Rice?

Whenever I'm dining at a Cajun restaurant, I'm always torn between shrimp-tastic jambalaya and red beans and rice with sausage. So I usually end up ordering a po'boy and gumbo instead. But if you had to choose, which one of these spicy New Orleans rice dishes would you pick?

Dirty Cajun Rice! (w/out liver) Or red beans and rice. (I was born a coon-ass unfortunately. I try to rarely have rice though. Mostly eat the cajun foods during Christmas or special occasions.)

i wouldn't eat either. i think that either one dish has meat which i don't eat or the other has beans and rice which are foods that i try to stay away from - so both are just a no go for me.

I love red beans and rice. It is a staple in my Mothers kitchen... yum! It is Jambalaya, for me, that can be either really good or really bad... depending on who cooked it. I find the common problem is it's either gummy or over cooked.

Haven't properly had either, although I had a ready-meal jambalaya once, and it was a bit wierd. I'd try both though, if they were cooked nicely and freshly :)
