I love both, but I always wind up going with savory. Eggs benny, scrambles, corned beef hash, chicken hash, all the way!

when ever i go out for brunch, i always aim for the more savory types, however i stick to eggs (egg whites) and tomato slices rather than the meats since i'm a veggie and i don't really go for the potatoes since i'm trying to be healthier.

Gimmie both! I love to have both sweet and savory items during brunch :)

I like dishes that represent both. The last restaurant brunch menu that I created had a Savory Stuffed French Toast: brioche stuffed with bacon, sausage, green onions, tomatoes and white cheddar, topped with Honey Jalapeno Glaze. Sweet, savory and spicy and one of my top sellers!

Is it really sad that I like my porridge for breakfast so much that I'm not really into brunch, even on the weekends? Yes. It is. Never mind. :) As much as I love blueberry pancakes and maple syrup, I'm still leaning toward savoury. Egg windows, fresh bread and butter, cheese scones. Yum.

Savory for me. Eggs bennedict if possible, cooked by someone else is even better.

I love bacon and eggs and hash browns with waffles! Both savory and sweet! That's the perfect brunch, along with a mimosa of course!

I can't imagine a proper brunch without both savory and sweet being represented.

I tend towards sweet for breakfast . . . but brunch I go for savory more. Then again, I'm usually up and hungry right away on weekends, so I eat breakfast. Even if friends ask me to meet them for "brunch" it is so close to lunch time that I eat lunch (hence the preference for savory during "brunch time").

Like I need an excuse to drink during the day... I enjoy mixing both sweet and savory things on my plate. Brunch is the best.

I love both. My favorite brunch place serves complimentary little fried doughnut bites drizzled in honey, so I order something savory and enjoy both! They also have a $10 bottomless mimosa deal, doesn't get much better than that!
