Rejoice, Top Chef: Just Desserts fans! Season one  winner Yigit Pura has a new San Francisco patisserie, Tout Sweet , opening this Saturday, Sept. 8. Billed as a French patisserie inspired by Northern California produce, this très chic pastry shop is sure to tempt all but the most stalwart sweets-averse. For those of you living outside the SF Bay Area, don't fret: chef Pura is currently penning a cookbook titled Sweet Alchemy, due out next Fall, and has plans for eventual nationwide expansion.
Tout Sweet Packaging
The walls of Tout Sweet are lined with elegant, brightly colored packaging for take-home gifts, including dessert sauces, jams and marmalades, pâtes de fruits (coarse-sugar-dusted fruit jellies), fruit curds, caramels, and marshmallows, many of which will be available online  for shipping within the US.
Pâtes de Fruits
A variety of pâtes de fruits are available, including a tart and complex Negroni-inspired variety (my personal favorite), raspberry-fig-balsamic, and strawberry-orange-cardamom.
Strawberry-Orange-Cardamom Pâtes de Fruits
Pâtes de fruits, such as this beautifully layered strawberry-orange-cardamom sweet, are sold à la carte at the pastry counter, as well as packaged in sets for take-home gifts.

Wild Strawberry-Vanilla Bean Confiture
Preserves such as this wild strawberry-vanilla bean confiture and a pluot-orange-lavender variety are sure to gussy up morning toast and scones.
Liège waffles — a popular Belgian treat whose brioche-like batter is studded with pearl sugar , which provides extra crunch and sweetness — are part of the breakfast menu lineup. Here, the caramelized waffles are served with a dollop of the wild strawberry-vanilla bean confiture.
Ganache and Tipsy Marshmallows
Chef Pura's variety of marshmallows are sure to inspire your own creations; flavors on offer include Tahitian vanilla bean, Tipsy (a rum-spiked coconut treat), Tesla (a zesty passionfruit, Meyer lemon, and yuzu variety), and tropical mango-banana.
A Nikolai Tesla-inspired Meyer lemon-yuzu curd tart, dolloped with passion fruit and topped with a passion fruit marshmallow, lived up to its electric etymology. It's also one of chef Pura's favorites.
No French patisserie is complete without a variety of colorful macarons . Tout Sweet sells a whole host of flavors including spicy pasilla chili and dark chocolate, milk chocolate and ginger ganache, salted caramel, milk chocolate ganache and passion fruit, and chocolate ganache and orange confit.
Chef Pura certainly had fun experimenting with vibrant food coloring and flavors with this lot, which encompassed Bing cherry and bourbon, Meyer lemon buttercream, cognac-spiked pistachio buttercream and sour cherry chocolate gelée, and lavender buttercream.
Petit Tout Sweet
This eponymous bittersweet chocolate layer cake is layered with a dulce de leche-like milk jam, as well as delicate chocolate mousse, and is sure to please chocolate fiends.
Tout Sweet carries a bittersweet verrine similar to chef Pura's SF Chefs offering , which was easily my favorite bite of the festival. This elegantly presented parfait consists of a citrus-vanilla panna cotta topped with Negroni gelée and a grapefuit suprême.
At first bite, I assumed that this elegant white-chocolate-raspberry bombe was infused with matcha , but was steered otherwise by its creamy white coloring. It turns out that its delicate tea-spiked flavor comes from oolong tea instead.
