Yummy Link: Cornets a la The French Laundry

The first thing I ate at The French Laundry was a delectable cornet. If you want to try and make it at home, here's the recipe. Oh and can I just say, this one is possibly even more beautiful than the one I ate while there. - Chubby Hubby

Sorry to disagree a bit, but sometimes there's no substitute for a good piece of lovingly made Southern fried chicken, a fried catfish dinner or a crunchy french fry. And some "convenient" food is tasty and healthy these days. It's about making measured choices and treating yourself once in a while. I'm just not going to live an acetic, monkish lifestyle.

Food is one of my favorite subjects. My comment for all of you is to treat your food well. Don't overcook it or buy it in a convenience store or eat fried food. It just wasn't meant to be. Hence the thousands of diseases out there. They are avoidable.
